BOOKMERRIN STORE POLICIES
Payment Policy
BookMerrin will clearly display the accepted payment methods, currency, shipping charges, and any applicable taxes before a customer confirms an order.
Accepted methods
BookMerrin uses Square for eligible card payments when Square is enabled at checkout. Customers can choose from the secure payment methods actually displayed during checkout. We never request payment card numbers through email or telephone messages.
Currency and final total
Our store uses USD ($). A full order total, including any applicable sales tax and shipping charges, will be displayed before the customer confirms payment.
When payment is taken
Payment authorization and capture follow the method displayed in checkout. An order confirmation is not a guarantee of shipment if the payment is declined or the product cannot be supplied. We will contact the customer and provide appropriate remedies if fulfillment is not possible.
Payment security
When active, Square’s supported secure payment components handle card entry and authorization. Payment information is processed under Square’s applicable terms and privacy notice. BookMerrin never asks customers to send full card details by email.
Refunds and disputes
Approved refunds will be initiated back to the original payment method in accordance with our Return and Refund Policy. Your financial institution may require additional time to reflect the amount. Contact us first if you believe a charge is inaccurate or an order has a problem; you also retain any applicable cardholder dispute rights.
Fraud prevention
Orders may be subject to automated security checks. We may request legitimate order verification or cancel a transaction if required to prevent fraud or comply with law.
