Return & Refund Policy
We offer 30-day returns on eligible physical books, including change-of-mind returns, and support exchanges where replacement copies are available.
30-day, no-reason-needed returns
For eligible paperback and hardcover purchases, you may request a return within 30 calendar days of delivery without providing a reason. For change-of-mind returns, please keep the book in good, resalable condition. We do not charge a restocking fee.
How to start a return
Email support@bookmerrin.com with your order number and the item you wish to return. We will provide return authorization and the correct mailing instructions. Ship the return within 14 days after receiving our return authorization. Do not send the product to the listed U.S. correspondence address unless our team instructs you to do so.
Who pays return shipping?
Damaged, defective, or incorrectly supplied books: BookMerrin pays reasonable return shipping or arranges a prepaid label, and offers a replacement or refund as appropriate. Change of mind: you are responsible for return postage. We recommend using a trackable service. Original shipping charges are not ordinarily refunded for change-of-mind returns unless required by law.
Refund timing
Once the returned item has been delivered back to the designated return facility and its eligibility confirmed, we will initiate an approved refund to the original payment method within 7 calendar days. Your bank or card issuer may take additional time to display the credit. This does not limit faster remedies required by applicable law.
Exchanges
We can arrange an exchange for a damaged, defective, or wrong book when the replacement edition is available. For other exchanges, contact support to confirm availability and any applicable shipping differences.
Cancellations
If you need to cancel an order before dispatch, contact us promptly. An order can be canceled where fulfillment has not progressed beyond the point where cancellation is feasible, subject to applicable legal rights.
Digital downloads
Where a digital edition is sold separately, its terms will be stated clearly on that product page. If a purchased file is missing, corrupted, or materially different from its description, contact us for a remedy. Any limitations on returns of correctly delivered digital goods do not affect mandatory legal rights.
